The use of the Creditgenie application form is subject to the Terms and Conditions set out below.

We offer completely independent services: a 24 hour Legal and ID Assist line, four credit reports per year (one every quarter), Financial Wellness Programme and complimentary loan assist service.
Please note that Creditgenie is not an agent nor a representative of any service provider, and does not endorse any service or product.
Based on the details that you have provided during your application, Creditgenie will aim to find the best loan available to you by searching the entire South African market for a moneylender/broker that will assist you. We strive to find you a lender that will give you the amount that you’ve requested, otherwise we will prefer you a lender that best matches your specified requirements. Furthermore, you give us permission to pass your details on to these lenders should we feel it necessary to do so.
The complimentary loan assist service we provide is free of charge. And you will be covered for any legal and ID theft matters upon completion of your loan application. You will also have access to a quarterly comprehensive credit report as well as telephonic financial advice and debt management which will be activated upon the successful payment of your plan. The credit report, which is received directly from a registered credit bureau, will provide you with an overview of your credit status, and the telephonic financial advice and debt management will give you further financial freedom for peace of mind.
For all of these services, a once-off initiation fee of R395 with a monthly perpetual agreement fee of R117 will be payable. We will deduct these fees directly from your card details that you have provided, using the MOTO payment system, on or around your salary date. Please note that your collection date may change based on our payday predictor analytics. If there are insufficient funds in your bank account on your salary date, a 12-month agreement will then come into force where we’ll debit your card with a monthly fee of R148 to cover the once-off initiation fee. Thereafter, a monthly perpetual agreement will take effect, with a monthly fee of R117. Your services will automatically be renewed on your anniversary date. The reference on your bank statement will reflect as Credit Gain and your unique reference number.
Upon completion of your application for our services, you’ll receive immediate access to the complimentary loan assist service and Legal and ID Assist Plan.
Please note that this agreement is not binding and that you’re entitled to cancel at any given time. However, you do have a five-day cooling-off period which will commence upon the completion of this application. Should you cancel outside the cooling off period, we may charge you a reasonable cancellation fee of R95, as the services would have already commenced.
You hereby state that you understand these Terms and Conditions and give Creditgenie permission to debit your card for the services.
We use a third party collections agent. Therefore, their name, along with your unique Creditgenie reference number, will be referenced on your bank statement. We will only deduct the funds from your card if your application for our services has been received, accepted and processed. You consent that, for as long as you are an active member of Creditgenie, we may request your credit information from a credit bureau in raw format (xml string or otherwise), which will be presented to you in pdf format.
You understand that the withdrawal hereby authorised will be processed through a computerised system provided by the South African Banks. You also understand that details of this withdrawal will be printed on your bank statement. Such reference will enable you to identify the Agreement.
You acknowledge that the payment instruction issued by you shall be treated by your abovementioned Bank as if the instruction have been issued by you personally.
You agree that although this Authority and Mandate may be cancelled by you, such cancellation will not cancel the Agreement. You will not be entitled to any refund of any amount which we have withdrawn while this Authority was in force, if such amount was legally owing by you.
You acknowledge that this Authority may be ceded or assigned to a third party if the Agreement is also ceded or assigned to that third party, but in the absence of such assignment of the Agreement, this Authority and Mandate cannot be assigned to any third party.
We strongly recommend that you only borrow what you can afford to repay within the loan terms. Our short-term solutions are not intended to meet your long-term, financial needs.
Creditgenie is not a lender and do not make cash advances nor credit decisions.
This website will match you with a lender based on the information that you have provided in your application. Cash transfers may vary between lenders, and in some instances faxing may be required. In certain instances, a credit check may be conducted using your South African identity number to check your credit history and share your information with any of our partners to ascertain suitability for our product for as long as you’re a client of Creditgenie. Completion of the application in no way guarantees that you will be approved for the loan requested.
As per the requirements of the Consumer Protection Act No. 68 of 2008, should you feel the need to lodge a complaint about the services we provide, kindly forward your complaint to firstname.lastname@example.org. We strive to resolve all complaints within 72 hours from date of receipt.
